Diversity And Inclusion In Motorsport

Charlie and his family are committed in promoting diversity and inclusion within british motorsport. Sam Ellis has Down syndrome and is a fully licensed marshal. Sam predominantly works at Hunts Kart Club as an assistant grid marshal. Since gaining his licence Sam has marshaled at several British Kart Championship rounds and at several kart tracks. 2022 saw Sam feature in the Motorsport UK publication Revolution Magazine, promoting diversity and inclusion within british motorsport and talking about his take to the track in a dual control kart thanks to Mr Karting based in Warwick. 2023 saw Sam continuing his work at kart tracks as well as guest appearances at Snetterton, Donnigton and Brands Hatch working as part of the marshalling team for TCR UK. 2024 has see Sam undertake more car circuits and kart tracks and has become a worldwide inspiration to everyone within the race paddocks. Charlie and his family actively support Sam aswell as everyone within the race paddocks. Down syndrome does not set Sams limits, Sam does.
